Lansing Terminal (MI)

At Jack Cooper Transport, our mission is to lead the vehicle transport services industry by meeting or exceeding our customers’ expectations for timely delivery, damage-free performance and value.  We are looking for applicants with six months professional (Class A CDL) driving experience.  

 

PAY

• $200/day Orientation and Training Pay

• Full rate of pay is up to $1.53 per loaded mile, plus loading and unloading pay

QUALIFICATIONS​​

• Possess a current and valid Class A CDL

  • No more than a combination of 3 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in the last 3 year period.

• Six months professional driving experience (Class A CDL), carhaul experience preferred not required

• Must pass a background check, pre-employment drug screen and physical

• Must be able to withstand prolonged sitting (driving), walking or standing, to reach and work overhead, squat, bend, climb, pull and twist body, push/pull and manual dexterity

• Ability to work at height

GENERAL INFORMATION

• Work an average of 55 hrs/week, and Saturday dispatch

• Drive an average of 1,500-2,000 miles/week

• OTR 2-3 days/week

• Delivering to MI, OH, IL, WI, IA, TN, KY, WV, upstate NY, FL, TX, CO, UT, CA and Canada

• Seniority Dispatch at 6am

• FAST pass preferred
