New to driving?   Let us train you how to haul cars.  Find out more about our rookie training program for drivers with a Class A CDL, but less than 6 months experience.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Load, unload & transport vehicles to/from manufacturing plants, rail heads, and dealerships in a safe and timely manner while meeting delivery schedules

  • Inspect vehicles for defects and damages prior to loading

  • Operate electronic log system

  • Comply with DOT rules and regulations and company policies and procedures

PAY

  • Training pay described below.  Upon graduation from rookie program, compensation of up to $1.43/mile, plus loading/unloading pay.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • No driving experience required

  • We provide a limited number of sponsorships to CDL schools to get your CDL

  • Valid DOT Physical with at least 6 months remaining before expiration

  • Pass DOT pre-employment drug screen 

  • IF YOU HAVE A CLASS A CDL, YOU MUST:

    • have graduated from an accredited truck driving school

    • Class A CDL with no restriction for Automatic Transmission

ROOKIE PROGRAM INFORMATION

  • Trainees will be under a probationary period of 20 weeks from the date of hire

  • Trainees will go through a training period of 16 weeks

    • Weeks 1-4 will consist of classroom, dock, and driving training​

    • Weeks 5-16   will consist of one-on-one training with an experienced driver

  • Benefits begin on day 1 after the probationary period​

  • Trainees will be paid

    • $750 per week for the first 8 weeks

    • $1000 per week for weeks 9-16

    • Full contractual rate after 16 weeks (up to $1.43/mile, plus loading/unloading pay)

  • Trainees will begin working on their own for 30 days under probation after the 16 weeks and will be paid full contractual rate for that work
