Administrative Assistant – Liberty, MO “Claycomo”

We have a great opportunity for an Administrative Assistant at our Claycomo terminal in Liberty, MO. We are looking for a dedicated, hard-working individual who wants to develop and grow our company. The main responsibilities of this position will be to assist with the daily operations of our Yard Department. The ideal candidate should have experience with Microsoft, proficient in Excel, communication skills, the ability to multi-task, display a high degree of professionalism, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment that is constantly evolving.

The ideal candidate will live within the Kansas City, MO area. This is an in-person position.

HOURS: MONDAY - FRIDAY 10:00 A.M. - 6:00 P.M.

Job Duties
• Complete work schedules, manage calendars, and arrange appointments.
• Compile, copy, sort, and file records of office activities, business transactions, and other activities.
• Communicate with supervisors/management, employees, and other individuals to answer questions, disseminate or explain information, and address complaints.
• Maintain and update filing.
• Type, format, proofread, and edit reports, correspondence, and other documents.
• Review files, records, and other documents to obtain information to respond to requests.
• Other duties as needed.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person


• High school graduate or equivalent
• Office experience (1 year preferred)
• ADP/WorkForce Manager Scheduler, preferred or equivalent scheduling experience.
• Answer telephones, direct calls, and take messages.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite – especially Excel
• Attention to detail, ability to multi-task and manage time effectively
• Positive personality, highly motivated to assist others at any time.
• Ability to work effectively with limited supervision.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures.
• Solid decision-making, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Ability to stay organized, multi-task, and prioritize duties efficiently.
